I’m A Twitter, You’re A Twitter, Wouldn’t You Like To Be A Twitter Too!

A couple of months ago, my webmaster TurnipHed introduced me to this thing called Twitter.
In the passing time I’d heard more and more.
Finding out that the over-hyped ex/current/ex/current of Jennifer Aniston was a “Twitterer”, I will admit it piqued my curiosity.
Hearing the daily poops of John Mayer still wasn’t enough to attract me though. “No Such Thing” notwithstanding1 his new song “Say” is great up until the chorus.
How many times can you sing, “Say what you need to say”? Apparently for the “Twitter King” you can’t say it enough.
You just want to ask, “What’s the song called again? No please, say the word over and over.”
Maybe his twitters are about that Mattel-esque cleft in his chin.
So now I understand that Ashton Kutcher and his beloved Demi twitter too.
Ahhhh, all the world is jumping on the bandwagon and reading peoples most important updates.
“Going for coffeeeeeeeee!”
“Anyone else hate squirrels?”
“What’s this on my penis!!??”
Honestly, do we REALLY need to know the up-to-date goings on of the general population?
It would probably be different if Ghandi or the Dalai Lama were on there. They would be brilliant and self-affirming amidst the sea of banality.
What would their nicknames be though? Ghandi could be "TogaBoi” and the Dalai? Oh I’m sure it would be “IheartBuddah!”
Now you might think this hypocritical of me. I mean here I am blogging my bowel movements for the world to read but Twittering2 just seems to be a non-committal form of blogging.
It’s almost like speed dating for internet users.
I guess what ever floats your boat.
So what would be the penultimate Twitter? For those of you reading, let me know what you think would be, or if you do Twitter HAS BEEN the best one you’ve read.
In the meantime, whilst you’re pondering that request, watch this. Quite cute and pretty damned accurate.
